morning coffee

Good morning!  I spent much of yesterday puttering around Lemon Lane Cottage getting ready for dinner guests tonight. 



It felt so good to wake up to a sparkling kitchen and freshly baked brownies.  Tonight these will be turned into a special dessert but this morning...



they are the perfect ying to my coffee's yang.
So tell me, are you a fan of sweets with your coffee?

    I only drink tea.
    But, oh yes, I love my sweets to go with it. But not at breakfast time, later when I want a break.

    This morning we enjoyed a slice of cinnamon swirl bread from Trader Joe's. It goes well with coffee and it isn't too sweet. I resisted the urge to sprinkle on a bit of cinnamon sugar.
    Mostly because the little cinnamon/sugar jar is empty. Take care, and have fun with your company tonight.

    Oh, yes! I'm on Weight Watchers but I just cut the brownies a little smaller, LOL! And as far as the coffee itself...let's just say I like a little coffee with my sugar and creamer! (Okay, I'm doing half sugar/half fake stuff and fat-free creamer, but it's still pretty good!)
    That old tray is so sweet, btw. I love the way you displayed it!

    Oh yes I am a fan. Sadly I am. I even like a splash of sweet flavored creamer in my coffee. I know I am bad. Have a wonderful dinner party.

    Oh my, the sweets I put IN my coffee! First two packs of sweetener. Then a bit of half & half, and then a bit of Coffeemate.
